Martin Reynolds’ latest single, Why Do I?, is a solid throwback to the golden age of garage and blues rock. The track rides on a steady rhythm with crunchy guitars that instantly set the tone. His vocals are on point, carrying just the right amount of grit and soul to match the song’s energy. One of the coolest parts? The horn section, unexpected but totally fitting, adding a fresh, dynamic layer to the sound.

The outro kicks things up a notch, with the vocals making way for a brief but groovy bass lick before launching into a blazing wah-drenched guitar solo. A finish that leaves you wanting to hit replay. If you’re a fan of classic rock with a bit of bite, Why Do I? by Martin Reynolds will take you right back to the vibes of bands like The Doors. This track grooves, it moves, and it sticks with you. Some tasty straightforward, no-nonsense rock still has a place today.
