Linkin Park is back with a new lineup, album, and tour, seven years after the tragic loss of lead vocalist Chester Bennington. The rock icons have welcomed Emily Armstrong, frontwoman of Dead Sara, as co-lead vocalist, and Colin Brittain, known for his work with Papa Roach and All Time Low, as the new drummer. Original drummer Rob Bourdon has stepped away from the band.
Mike Shinoda shared that the new lineup for Linkin Park feels “empowered” and energized, blending their signature sound with fresh explorations. Their upcoming album, From Zero, marks the band’s first release since 2017’s One More Light. Set for release on November 15 through Warner Records, the album references the band’s original name, Xero, symbolizing both their past and present journey.
Their first single in seven years, “The Emptiness Machine,” leads the album’s release, and Linkin Park revealed in a livestream that they are set to embark on the From Zero World Tour, which will kick off with arena shows in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, and Seoul, before continuing heavily into 2025.
Despite guitarist Brad Delson’s excitement for the new chapter, he revealed he won’t be joining LP on tour. He remains involved behind the scenes, with Alex, his “handsome deputy,” stepping in for live performances. Linkin Park fans remain eager to experience the next evolution of Linkin Park with their new members and renewed spirit.
