With her seventh studio album all set to drop next year February, Lady Gaga shared a cryptic message on Instagram this Friday which reads “I’M READY FOR MY INTERVIEW”. The letters in the text seem as if written by some yellowish-white sand over a red background.
Coming out of the blue, this garnered attention from fans, many left wondering what is actually going on. “WHATS HAPPENING OMG,” one person commented. “OH MY GOD!!! I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT’S ABOUT BUT I’M VERY READY TOO!!!,” came another comment. “Music or movie?” writes another fan excited to know whether this is about her upcoming LP or her October-slated movie.
Her Little Monster fans speculate this is either about her next LP or her soon to release movie Joker: Folie à Deux, where she stars as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix. It has been a year Gaga has been working on both of them. Gaga also promoted the movie when she made her red carpet debut this year with fiancé Michael Polansky at the Venice International Film Festival.
As for her upcoming LP inspired by dance-pop roots, Lady Gaga told Vogue that it was her fiancé Michael Polansky who encouraged her to get back to pop music. “Michael is the person who told me to make a new pop record,” she recalled. “He was like, ‘Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music.'”
“Not only her movie but the first single from her upcoming LP is also set to drop next month. “There’s a lot of pain associated with this adventure,” the 13-time Grammy winner continued. “And when I start to explore that pain it can bring out another side to my artistry. When I’m here at this studio, I’m relaxed and I am able to face my demons and what’s remarkable is … that’s the music. I’m able to hear it back.”
Update: Just 9 hours back Gaga shares another cryptic message, this time with a black background! This one says “DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO WEAR”! Fans are still trying to figure what is going on. “Notorious Being? Shadow of the Night? 😱🔥” reads a comment. Looks like we might be in for some more in the series!
