Coldplay just released their new single called “feelslikeimfallinginlove” yesterday as announced last Monday morning. This is the first song they have released from the album “Moon Music”, their 10th studio album produced by Max Martin, all set to arrive on October 4th.
“feelslikefallinginlove” is a vibrant catchy track that is about letting yourself fall in love again, despite having been hurt. “Feels like I’m falling in love/You’re throwing me a lifeline/Oh now for the first time/I know I’m not alone”– Chris Martin’s heartfelt words for the chorus gradually make way for an intense melodious outro.
“Moon Music” follows their 2021 release “Music of the Spheres”, the first LP in the series.
Earlier this month, Coldplay played in Athens, Greece for the first time ever, where before releasing “feelslikeimfallinginlove” the band debuted another brand new song called “All My Love”. From what Chris Martin said before they started the song, about the audience not being supposed to hear it before September, we can take it as a hint for the song to appear on “Moon Music”. However, the band hasn’t disclosed the full track list yet.

The band further mentioned that the album release would involve a variety of formats that meet “new sustainability standards”. The vinyl version will be made from nine recycled plastic bottles. While they will make the CD version with 90% recycled polycarbonate. The band would reduce Co2 emissions by 78% with the new production process. They will also avoid using more than five metric tonnes of virgin plastic.

Coldplay’s ongoing European tour is slated to go on till September. Next week on June 29th will be playing at the Glastonbury festival in the UK for a record-breaking 5th time. The band will also be playing in Australia and New Zealand during August-September.
