YouTube guitar sensation Ichika Nito is making rounds around the world. There is a massive chance you can see the maestro live, for he is performing in probably every nook and cranny of the globe. From the Europe tour closing in 2024, the Asia tour now kicks off with India-and home ground Japan is on the books!
The guitarist became famous for the “meme format” of showing off his compositions. Examples range in the format of“When _____ gives you only 40 seconds to audition”. These became quick hits, where he was able to shred out quick moments of his own style. From this, he moved to originals sprinkled in between, which started getting compared to Tim Henson’s style from Polyphia.
His efforts have instantly been noticed, though. July 2020, he was selected as the 8th best guitarist of all time by readers of the British guitar magazine Total Guitar.
The 32-year-old has been bringing the heat ever since then, and his arrangements are a sight and aural phenomenon to behold.

Ichika Nito has released 3-4 EPs since then, thematic and unique to his performance type. Famous for his one-take recording, his meticulous approach and use of microtones and rhythms have seen him giving masterclasses at NAMM since 23’. His attention to tone and his new signature Ibanez have been the talk of purists’ town since the release, and are in for rave reviews.
