Antimatter LR – Self Blame
Self Blame, the debut single by Bengaluru prog metal band Antimatter LR is nothing short of a caffeine hit. This track features ferocious growls and djenty guitars with an incredibly heavy low end. The riffs hit you in explosive bursts. Vocalist Paul Maben delivers a phenomenal and brutal performance here while the breakdown arrives in the second half, followed by a hypnotic guitar solo. Clocking in under three minutes, it feels like like being whacked by a cyclone on the way to djent afterlife. With ground-shaking drums, low-end punchy guitars, and demonic growls, this track can surely kick the dead out of eternal slumber.

thevoidwecreate – Vantablack Tears
thevoidwecreate, the post-hardcore and modern metal project of Hritik Das (instruments, production) and Paul David (lyrics/visuals), features djenty insane riffs coupled with guttural vocals in their song Vantablack Tears. Juxtaposed with beautiful clean vocals and atmospheric production, it provides the perfect foil to this song on the human condition. Accompanied by a majestically dark lyric video crafted by Paul, this song feels like vulcanic magma crystallizing into a splendid ice mirror. Be sure to watch it alongside the lyric video!
Nivi Ode’ Linda and Alan Thomas – Fleet Of Deceit
‘Fleet Of Deceit‘ is a fiery progressive metal track by guitarist/drummer Nivi Ode’ Linda and vocalist Alan Thomas. Opening with lush pianos and pristine string section elements, Alan’s powerful vocals seep in alongside some headbanging riffs. We then move into infectious groovy riffs and soaring falsetto gritty tenor metal vocals. There are symphonic sections that lend an epic feel to the composition, followed by an equally epic guitar solo. A mesmerizing mix of cerebral yet enchanting, with just the right amount of heavy alongside the harmonic magic. Exquisitely crafted.
