Groove Vultures bring some raging rock with their single, “What Happened to Lucy”

Groove Vultures is the result of 4 friends coming together to make music. This is a band that keeps it raw, personal and undeniably groovy. Their self-titled EP from earlier this year is a definite headbanger, the kind of rock you craved on the radio. Kids take notes, for this is a single called What Happened To Lucy.

Opening with a ridiculously fun and groovy riff, the percussions take your attention. This is a smashing closing number to have on an EP, and that is what the band did as well. Groove Vultures keep that radio rock feel alive with their alt and punk rock vibes. The band knows how to keep it fresh, yet challenge the genres with their approach. The band is Harry Marsh, Matt Bunky-Jones, Shawn Gielen-Relph and Tyler Jameson.

They yell out the lyrics, as would be expected from a band that is having fun. The Bonham triplets echo at you from the verse section, while the tempo will ensure your heart is beating at 150bpm. The tones are all balanced out like you’d hear classics have, rhythms bouncing feverishly off the walls. There is a bridge section that will make you swallow concrete, for it’s way too exciting to be writing about. Brace yourself for a punk explosion soon after.

Groove Vultures are also back with another single called Self Destruct, which showcases their amazing, hot headed rock reckless nature. It is the kind of music that hasn’t been polished in post-production, but has had a hell of a time being recorded. Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
