Loop Earplugs : Leading the Consumer Market with Comfort, Style & Affordibility

For musicians or anyone else working in a loud environment, the noise can sometimes get really bad. Yes, you can wear your earphones to eliminate some noise, but chances are they won’t be as effective. Or if they are at all, you won’t be able to communicate while wearing them. Even if it’s not your workplace, if you are a music enthusiast who frequents live concerts or nightclubs, prolonged exposure to loud sounds can considerably damage your hearing in the long run.

As noise-induced hearing problems are becoming more and more a danger, even more so for the younger population, we take a dig into the Loop earplugs, which claim to be made for this purpose. Maybe finally you can enjoy everything without threatening your ear drums.

Loop Earplugs: Models, Variants and Use

The 2016 launched earplugs have taken the market by storm with their various colors and distinct designs. The primary variant names are Quiet, Engage, Experience, Switch and Dream, with almost each one having an upgraded ‘2’ version.

  1. Engage 2: With up to 16 dB (SNR) Noise Reduction, the earplugs are designed for an environment where you can block out some background noise but still be able to talk and hear a little. Imagine yourself in a coffee shop where you maybe want to hear the friend next to you but cut out the music or machine noises. Bingo!
  2. Experience 2: With up to 17 dB (SNR) Noise Reduction, this series has been designed for loud places like concerts and festivals. That is where you want to hear it all, but just less loudly while also still keeping it crisp. Loop has priced both the Engage and Experience at around $35 a pair.
  3. Quiet 2: With the Noise Reduction capability being quite more, up to 24 dB SNR, these are designed for maximum comfort and sleeping. The Quiet 2 is the cheapest of the lot at around $25 a pair. Typically best for your solo travels, the Quiet 2 is a savior, when it comes to focusing deeply as well. This one also has soft loops that stick out of your ear canal, making it ideal for sleep.
  4. Dream: Priced around $50, with maximum Noise Reduction of up to 27 dB SNR, these are more than perfect for your sweet dreams. Imagine when you are trying to sleep on travel but your camp mate keeps snoring all night, lol.
  5. Switch 2: This one allows you to switch between all 3 modes: Engage, Experience and Quiet. An all-rounder, Loop has priced the Switch 2 at $60 only. Not that much if you consider the versatility, although be warned this might not be the best of the lot if you try to sleep with it.

More Variants

Experience and Engage also have their ‘Plus’ versions with an additional accessory providing an additional 5 dB Noise Reduction option. Engage also comes in a Kids’ version. Almost all the versions have upgraded a step since the brand’s initial launch 9 years back.

Loop Earplugs: Final Thoughts

The silicone build helps the cylindrical earplugs fit perfectly into the ear and are super comfortable. This lets you use it for extended periods. The flexible build also makes for super easy cleaning and, hence, a longer-lasting life. Just wipe away any debris regularly. And every 3 to 6 months, you can always change the ear tips readily available at Loop’s website.

The effective noise reduction is also graded perfectly so that customers know which one is the ideal for them. How exactly do they work? Well, Loop earplugs use specially designed filters to let the sound through evenly and preserve it evenly across frequencies.

Finally, the Loop earplugs are definitely a good investment, whether you are a music lover or a music hater. When it comes to focus and concentration, they can also be an ideal purchase for people with ADHD or autistic symptoms battling sensory overload. Small but powerful, the comfortable plugs are ideal for keeping loud noises away. That works even when you are at the busiest places, trying to take a nap or just get auditory relief.
