Sunrise in Jupiter is one of those bands that feel instantly familiar in the best way possible. Hailing from London, UK, the group blends that early 2000s alternative rock and pop punk energy with a cinematic, modern edge. Led by Sonny, who is frontman, songwriter, and producer, the band includes William Poe and Adam Ward on guitars, George Cook on bass, and Johnny Bucci on drums. Their sound lands somewhere between Close To Home, Weezer, and Fountains of Wayne, with a whole lot of energy thrown in.

Their new single ‘TAKE ME HOME’ is the second single after their debut single ‘Satellite’. It’s the sophomore release from their upcoming double album ‘Mission to Mars‘, recorded at London’s iconic Rak Studios and polished by top-tier pros like Mike Horner and Grammy-nominated Robin Schmidt.
Right from the first few bars, the song builds on a cascading guitar riff that loops through the track like a heartbeat. It’s catchy, energetic, and surprisingly uplifting. Sonny’s vocals float right in the middle of the mix, tucked behind the guitars but still full of warmth and intent. I especially love how the chorus explodes into a glorious wall of guitars. Some nice power rock stuff that doesn’t feel overdone. George Cook’s bassline deserves a special mention. Really cool bassline that dances around the song’s structure.
‘TAKE ME HOME‘ by Sunrise in Jupiter is a feel-good, power-packed pop punk jam that feels like sunshine in stereo. Definitely sping this one, if you love yourself some power packed alt pop punk rock.
