The Trusted is a band consisting of extremely talented musicians from England. Formed in 2016, the first ones to bond over music were guitarist Dale and lead singer Tom and soon were joined by Fin on bass and Dave on drums. The band shared a common love for making music with strong melodies and catchy hooks. Being inspired by the new age Brit-rock bands like The 1975 and Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Trusted have made their own unique sound by the fusion of post-punk and punk energy with a little hint of modern rock.
The Trusted have released several singles on various streaming platforms and have managed to gain quite a fan following. They are back with yet another masterpiece called “Arkansas”. A song made for the dreamers, for the melancholics, for the hopeless romantics.
“Arkansas” is a song that makes you feel a thousand different emotions at once, with its deep and toned-down vibe, it is a treat for music lovers. Talking about the song in detail, it starts with a heavy atmospheric pad that just creates an amazing ambiance. Soon the song lifts up with a steel string or a slide guitar followed by piano and drums. The beautiful vocal of Tom enters and just steals the show, his voice is so soothing and heartwarming, it just gives the song a whole another perspective. The song just gives everything it has at the end, the drums kick in with full swing and an amazing riff on the guitar sets the vibe and all the instruments come together to make “Arkansas” a perfect song.
The Trusted is a brilliant band, a group of some seriously talented people with some magnificent songs. It is highly recommended to listen to the song once.
