A fairytale music woven by flute, chimes, harmonica that’s soothes the soul. Growing up I was crazy about fairytales, I would gape at the characters of the books liven up the tele screen without even blinking. Only now I understand that it’s the sound, the music behind those moving acts & sceneries that stuck us to the screen. Bastein Vignaud is the Pied Piper of fairytale loving kids like me.
In this life finding the opportunity to do something that you really love is little tough to come by. Love for music and having the opportunity to write music reviews makes me grateful. And in this journey when I come across artist’s like Bastein Vignaud, I find myself humbly lucky. I find air instruments to be the most difficult and very trance like. Being a flutist is to manipulate air, create music out of the invisible breath, it’s like they are the instrument for the ebb and flow between life and death.
