Metallic Malik is a rapper, composer, and record producer from the United States. Malik conveys a unique vision of how he believes powerful music should sound. He finds spaces to place his work and sculpt new concepts into the heads of his listeners by combining intricate melodies with uplifting lyrics.
Push me Aside is Malik’s fifth single of the year, and clearly the man is on a roll. With well produced beats and a clean, smooth flow, Malik is definitely pushing his own boundaries with his tracks. Metallic Malik displays some great flow with his verses and especially with switching his verses up. Malik’s style of music reminds me of 6lack, Russ and Drake. The instrumentals on the track are kept clean and simple and emphasize Malik’s verses and flow even more. The instrumentals give me XXXtentacion vibes off of Moonlight.
The highlight to Malik’s music is his sense of timing and rhythm that we don’t get to see quite often in modern rap. With his track record this year, Malik only seems to be pushing and exploring new bounds with his discography. Push Me Aside is both a chill song and something you can dance to – but one thing is for sure, its definitely something you can groove to.
