Using an array of electronic and analogue instruments he creates music that will get you grooving along. His latest single, Just Too Late, is certainly a banger. The beats are fun, uplifting and textured. Moreover, the bass and wind instruments add so much depth and streaks to the track. The lighter textures are balanced out well by the depth of that bass and the kick drum. It’s a track filled with energy and playfulness that reminds me of the Neo-Soul group, Jungle. The percussive elements keep the song dynamic and fresh while the vocals add to the textures. The song is light, and fun and keeps things smooth and cool.
Andrew Michael Meador is brilliant with everything he does in his music. Every single element finds the perfect place in the mix which gives way to a lot of other elements. While other musicians don’t really get the EQ mixed in right, AMM does a brilliant job at it.
