The “S.E.R.P.E.N.T.” tour features Slash with his blues band, which consists of Johnny Griparic (bass), Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis (keyboards), Michael Jerome (drums) and Tash Neal (vocals/guitar).
The name S.E.R.P.E.N.T is an anagram. It stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance. The blues festival had been organized so that Slash could give back to the charities he stood by for years and hence the name.

A day after the Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist posted about the S.E.R.P.E.N.T festival dates cancellation, Slash also posted about the news of his “incredibly talented” step daughter Lucy-Bleu Knight’s demise. The post is a plea for privacy for his family during this difficult time. This may answer the question why the sudden decision to cancel the tour dates.
